This Privacy Policy explains how CoatMap Pro ("CoatMap Pro," "we," "us," or "our"), a product operated by EpoxyLocator, collects, uses, and shares information when you use our service.

1. Information We Collect

Account information: your name, business name, email, and phone number when you sign up.

Business data you enter: the contacts, leads, jobs, quotes, notes, messages, and appointments you create in CoatMap Pro — this is the core of the product, so we store it to provide the service back to you.

Payment information: handled entirely by our payment processor, Stripe. We do not store your full card details on our own servers.

Communications data: metadata and content of calls and texts sent through CoatMap Pro, processed via Twilio, and email sent through CoatMap Pro, processed via Resend or, if you connect it, your own Gmail account.

Usage data: basic technical information (like IP address and browser type) needed to operate and secure the service. We do not currently use any third-party analytics or advertising trackers.

2. How We Use Information

  • To provide, maintain, and improve CoatMap Pro
  • To process payments and manage your subscription
  • To send you service-related communications (billing, security, support)
  • To detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, abuse, or security issues
  • To comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your data. We share information only with the service providers that help us run CoatMap Pro, each bound to use it only to provide their service to us:

4. Google API Services User Data Policy

CoatMap Pro's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Data accessed through your connected Google account (Gmail, Calendar, Google Business Profile) is used only to provide the specific features you enable — such as showing your email in the Inbox or syncing appointments to your calendar — and is not used for advertising or sold to third parties.

5. Data Security

Business data is stored in Supabase with row-level security enabled, so each account can only access its own data. Administrative database access that bypasses those protections is restricted to server-side code and used only when necessary to operate the service. We never expose privileged database or third-party API credentials to the browser.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account and business data for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, we will delete or anonymize your data within a reasonable period, except where we need to retain it to comply with legal, tax, or accounting obligations.

7. Your Rights & Choices

You can access, correct, export, or delete most of your business data directly within CoatMap Pro. You can also contact us to request a copy of your data or to have your account and associated data deleted.

8. Cookies & Tracking

CoatMap Pro uses only the essential cookies needed to keep you signed in and secure your session (via Supabase authentication). We do not currently use third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies. If that changes in the future, we will update this section.

9. Children's Privacy

CoatMap Pro is a business tool intended for use by contractors and their staff. It is not directed at, and we do not knowingly collect information from, children.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you directly.
